I like to snark and do so in my own blog, usually working from the presentation of the issue, an acerbic interrogation of it and then working towards a softer, more intellectual (hopefully) conclusion. The way you put things does sometimes cause a little righteous indignation to surface (sometimes in agreement, sometimes not) but it has a positive aim to it and isn't just someone screaming their annoyance into the void.
